SEO or search engine optimization is the science of improving a website so that it will rank higher in the search engines. Having been one of the most well known experts in the business, I receive around 6000 emails a day from all over the world. But I will say this: Most of those who are emailing questions come from people who are less than honest. What I mean by that is that they are on a quest that will lead them no where. Most people really do believe by placing keywords or search phrases in a certain fashion will somehow defeat the search engines secret algorithms.

Getting a site to rank number one is no great accomplishment. Keeping one there for 5 years is. And then we have other considerations such as:

• Amount of competing Documents.
• Popularity of Competitors.
• Keyword Difficulty.
• Value Of Keyword To YOUR business.(Conversion Ratio)

SEO experts keep preaching about great content. What do they mean? Keyword rich content? Or stuff people like to read? Or keyword rich content that people like to read? NO, no and NO!

Great content is an orgasm you can not fake. It just is. Either you have it or you don’t. There is no magic formula for great content any more than there might be for a Beatles’s song, but there are some basic rules that will get you in the ballpark.

Don’t Lie
If you lie do not expect the search engines to FEATURE your lie. If you say “this is the most fantastic product of all time”. it is subjective because it is your opinion and not FACT. If it is opinion then it is subjective and if it subjective then it could be superlative. GET it?

SO, it is kind of weird but honesty in SEO is a huge winner and Liars will get theirs.
